Favorites

Here’s Meredyth on Saturday night, slicing into a *delicious* angel food cake dessert.  She was a fabulous hostess, entertaining eight girls for a night of “favorites.”  Inspired by this idea, she organized a fun fall get-together.  I was happy to wrap up 5 tubes of Burt’s Bee’s chapstick–one of my favorite products, and looked forward to seeing friends and their favorites!

The party was well timed; I really enjoyed the night out, laughing and chatting.  Of course the thought in the back of my mind was, “this could be the last time I’m out before I become a mom.”

We all ate a wonderful meal of chili and cornbread, seated around a gorgeous table and exchanged fun faves.  We’re hoping to do it again in the spring.  Maybe I’ll bring the little one then!
