Books read in March

Keeping up with my monthly reading is pretty easy.  I am mostly reading at night, after baby bedtime though–since his catnapping time is too precious during the day!  And March brought a new favorite:

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho Just fantastic.  I love me a dreaming shepherd boy.

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood and Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood Goood. and Goood. Many more Atwoods in my future.

The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Fowler Gotta be honest–I called it quits about 3/4 the way through.  Not something I like to do, however, this one just wasn’t for me.

and finally, The Wonder Weeks. When people crack, “I wish babies came with instruction manuals,” they are maybe talking about this book.  The subtitle “How to stimulate your baby’s mental development and help him turn his 8 predictable, great, fussy phases into magical leap forward” pretty much sums it up.

Because you guys, someone’s been leaping.
